Wonderful to be in Paris. Despite my apartment’s proximity to the Metro, I walked 6km, in the sunshine, to Notre Dame, along the Seine, and then to Montmartre/Sacre Couer. So many pretty sights. 10 or so kilometres all up – good training for the Via Podiensis which I start next week!
